History and modernity
A thousand-year-old historical heritage alongside modernity.
Liège can be visited all year round, offering visitors the chance to discover its past through the monuments and streets that punctuate the historic centre, as well as through its modernising districts. The cultural offer is not to be outdone with its numerous museums and exhibitions. Either on foot, by bus or by boat, you will cross several periods.
La nature en ville
In Liège, nature comes to town
It may not be evident, but Liège is also a green city, and that's good news, because these gems can be visited too! Whether it's on the slopes of the citadel, a haven of peace just a few steps from the historic centre, rated 3 stars in the Michelin guide, or in the Boverie park, which hosts the Fine Arts museum, set off on a beautiful green discovery!
Liege and its cuisine
It's no secret that in Liege we like to eat and drink well! Our many restaurants will help you discover our local specialities: the famous Liège-style meatballs, Liège salad, Liège coffee, but you will certainly also have the opportunity to taste peket, chocolate, waffles, beer... or, depending on the season, boûkètes, croustillons, lacquemants. Liège will never taste the same again.
Liege, the city that never sleeps
There is always something to do in Liege. After a great day of sightseeing, discover the city in its light during a night walk. Also not to be missed are cultural venues such as the Opera, theatres, renowned festivals and the famous Carré.
